Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Friday, September 8th, 2017 During a recent Panama City-Toledo game at Piranhas Ballpark, Harvey Porter of the Piranhas and Bill Grange of the Titans got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 2-game suspensions because of their actions. Porter is hitting at a .276 mark this season. His stats show 11 home runs, 59 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has played 95 games for the Piranhas. Season-to-date Grange has rung up 9 wins and 5 losses in 17 appearances. He has an ERA of 3.53 and has fanned 44 batters in 119.2 innings. |
