SL Top Pitcher Award for August to Moody Friday, September 1st, 2017 Craig Moody has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in August and stole away with the Silver League Pitcher of the Month award. The City bullpen ace collected 8 saves and 8 strikeouts in 10.1 innings, holding the opposition to a .118 average and posting a 0.87 ERA and a 2-0 record. This season Moody has claimed 24 saves and registered a 4-2 record with a 2.66 ERA. He has 37 relief appearances spanning 40.2 innings and has struck out 38. |
