| Calrissian Lose to Beavers, 13-7 | The Baffin Island Beavers defeated the Orlando Calrissian, 13-7, in National League action at Mel Fields, with Baffin Island first baseman Alden Isenhood named player of the game. Jesse Little picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-4. He struck out 8 in 6 innings. Baffin Island now has a 3-game win streak.
The Beavers got a big at-bat from center fielder Tony Morton. For the game, Morton went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Baffin Island a 3-0 lead.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Morton told the Baffin Island Daily.
