| Bandits Need Extra Frames to Get Past Beavers | The San Francisco Bandits defeated the Baffin Island Beavers, 8-2, in National League action at Beaver Dam, with San Francisco pitcher Mitsunari Taguchi named player of the game. Even with the win, the Bandits have a dismal 33-64 record.
The Bandits got a big at-bat from third baseman Naomichi Aoki. For the game, Aoki was 1 for 3. In the top of the 16th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 53rd hit of the season gave San Francisco a 3-2 lead.
