Martin Fires Shutout in Tropics Win Saturday, June 10th, 2028 Jerry Martin dominated the Boston Rebels with a brilliant 3-hit shutout in a Maui Tropics 9-0 triumph at Fenway Park. The Maui hurler fanned 3 and walked 2 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager. "He really kept us in check today," Rebels skipper Lúcio Harrell said in his postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings." In 13 starts this season Martin has fashioned a 1-8 record and a 5.72 ERA.
