Tremblett, Hernández Swap Clubs Friday, December 29th, 2028 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Niagara Falls Frenzy and Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese finalized a trade today. Niagara Falls will send 27-year-old C Zander Tremblett to the Royale with Cheese, while the Frenzy will receive 18-year-old minor league SS Armando Hernández and 18-year-old minor league RHP Emílio Benítez. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," the Frenzy general manager said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. In his career Tremblett has accumulated a .255 batting average with 420 hits. His totals include 67 doubles, 4 triples, 37 home runs, 327 strikeouts, 221 runs scored, 175 RBIs and a lifetime .322 OBP. |
