Lara Starts His Own Microbrewery Thursday, December 21st, 2028 Gang Green manager and beer enthusiast, Willie Lara, announced today that he is opening a new microbrewery and brewhouse this weekend. The new line of microbrews, called Willie's Basebrew, will be distributed locally and sold at Lara's Brewhaha Pub, located next door to the brewery. "Running a brewery has been a dream of mine for some time," said the Irvine skipper. Lara says he plans to donate portions of the proceeds from the venture to local charities. "Not only is this a dream come true for me, it's an opportunity to give something back to the community." The Brewhaha Pub is located just two blocks west of The Ballpark at Irvine and is sure to be a popular hangout before and after Gang Green home games. |
