This year's Cy Young Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 22-2 record, holding opposing hitters to a .172 batting average and posting a 1.62 ERA. The 31-year-old hurler tossed 255.2 innings, gave up 155 hits, fanned 300 and issued 50 walks. José Martínez of the Plymouth Rocks finished second in voting, while Juan González of the So Cal Bruins finished third. |
