Ramey Takes Home NL Batting Title Wednesday, October 4th, 2028 The numbers speak for themselves: a .362 batting average in 158 games, 246 hits, 48 doubles, 5 triples, 25 home runs, 96 RBIs, 140 runs scored and 57 walks. Those numbers added up to a batting title for Don Ramey of the Nassau Rockets. The 29-year-old right fielder received the 2028 National League batting trophy today. At the award ceremony, Ramey was definitely proud of his achievement. "I always knew that I had the talent to win a batting title," Ramey commented to reporters, "but I've had trouble at times with consistency. Everything came together this season. I hope this is not the last time. It will be a challenge, but I hope to win it again." |
