Bradford Sends Niagara Falls Bats to Deep Freeze Tuesday, September 5th, 2028 Marty Bradford was throwing strikes early and getting in the count, his manager said after the Chicago Machine hurler tossed a 6-hit, complete game shutout against the Niagara Falls Frenzy. "I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Bradford. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings." Bradford walked 0 and struck out 4 in the 4-0 victory. On the season Bradford has compiled a 9-11 mark with a 5.48 ERA in 28 starts.
