New Orleans's O'Loan to Miss Season Friday, September 1st, 2028
The New Orleans Looters and their fans were rocked today by the news that star shortstop Dave O'Loan would miss the rest of the season due to injury. O'Loan was hurt in a recent game against the Kansas City Kings while colliding with a player at a base. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a fractured skull. His doctors think that O'Loan will miss about 6 months.
O'Loan is currently batting .272 with 14 home runs, 55 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 130 hits in 478 at-bats.
