Carranza Gets 5 Hits Saturday, August 26th, 2028 It seemed that Pocatello center fielder Tomás Carranza could do no wrong as the Boccabellas KO'd the Rebels, 6-2 today. Carranza rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Rebels hurlers were throwing. "I think the Boccabellas were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Boston fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Carranza in the postgame press interview. Tomás Carranza doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Carranza is currently hitting at a .298 pace with 2 home runs and 39 RBIs.
