Continental League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 21st, 2028 At the age of 28, Pedro Guzmán might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Austin third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .556 batting average. For his efforts Guzmán collected the Continental League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs and 16 RBIs last week in 6 games. Presently Guzmán is batting .266 with 62 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 35 runs and scored 33 times. |
