It was a good time at Ballpark at the Shore, where fans came to watch the Austin River Sharks and Jersey Shore D-Bags get after it.
The Jersey Shore D-Bags picked up a win at Ballpark at the Shore, knocking off the Austin River Sharks, 4-2. Starting pitcher Roland Martin played a key role in the triumph. Martin went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 11. His record improves to 1-1.
Also making an impact was second baseman Ricardo González, who drilled a double in the bottom of the first inning for the D-Bags. For the game, González went 1-4 with a double and a walk.
"We'll try to build on that win," Martin told the Jersey Shore Observer.
The loss drops Austin to 3-3.
