Orlando Calrissian starter Mark Collins turned in an exceptional performance against the Maui Tropics at Mel Fields, resulting in a Orlando win, 4-2. Collins got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. Collins allowed 2 earned runs. The Calrissian raised their record to 3-4.
A defensive miscue in the bottom of the first cost the Tropics. With Orlando leading 1-0, Brian Price reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run. Orlando ended up winning the ballgame.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Price said after the game.
