River Sharks Suffer 8-3 Loss to Noise
The Nevada Noise downed the Austin River Sharks, 8-3, at Branda's Palace. The Noise were led by Willie Wallace, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Nevada reliever Mike Pierce picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Hiroshige Yamada shouldered the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Nevada.

Wallace contributed when he hit a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh. Coming with two outs and the bases loaded, the home run proved to be critical to helping Nevada get the win.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Nevada manager Bobby Vickers.
