Boccabellas Win in Extras
In a close game at Hawthrone Grill, the Pocatello Boccabellas edged the Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese, 5-4. Pocatello third baseman Francisco Sandoval earned the nod as player of the game. He was 4 for 5 with 3 doubles. The winner was Pocatello reliever Adrián Martínez, now 2-3. The loser was Rikiya Sakurai. Jaime Espinoza finished to wrap up his 18th save.

Ernesto Acosta had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the top of the eighth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a single, helping Pocatello to the win.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Danny Lombardi, the Pocatello manager.

The win puts the Boccabellas at 32-27, while the Royale with Cheese drop to 35-26.
