Royale with Cheese Get One-Run Win at Pocatello
The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese eked out a 3-2 win versus the Pocatello Boccabellas at Connie Mack Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Enrique Aguilera, who captured player of the game honors. Aguilera went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 1. His record improves to 4-2. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Royale with Cheese.

The Boccabellas had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Royale with Cheese going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the former first round draft pick Tom Blake came to the plate. Blake hit a 2-run home run on a 2-1 cutter from Pocatello hurler Ben Cobb. It was Blake's 9th home run of the year.

"We were in it," said Pocatello manager Danny Lombardi. "We just didn't score enough runs."
