Nashville got an elite performance from starting pitcher Clint John in taking a 6-1 decision over the New Orleans Looters. Nashville, now 4-1, has played well in the early going.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Gibson Guitar Park seemed to enjoy watching the Continental League action.
"Clint was throwing strikes, locating well," said Nashville manager Luis García.
