Calrissian Subdue El Dorado, 5-3
|
Starting pitcher Reagan Wear pitched well enough to help the Orlando Calrissian beat the El Dorado Oilers by the score of 5-3. The second-place Calrissian now have a win-loss record of 24-22.
Had it not been for Tim Abbott, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Calrissian were trailing 3-2, Abbott hit a 2-run single for Orlando, giving his team the lead.
"Reagan was throwing strikes, locating well," said Orlando manager Gerald Atkins.
