The Springfield Stars had no problem beating the Boston Rebels, 11-1, at Fenway Park. Calvin Bennett led the way. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Springfield. Anthony Erickson, the winner, improved to 5-1.
