Royale with Cheese Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Nevada
|
The Kalamazoo Royale with Cheese picked up a win at Branda's Palace, knocking off the Nevada Noise, 6-2. Starting pitcher Salvador Castro, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The second-place Royale with Cheese raised their record to 23-17.
Roberto Sandoval's at-bat in the top of the seventh inning was a big one for Kalamazoo. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Kalamazoo leading 3-2, the third baseman hit a 2-run single.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Sandoval said after the game.
