López Propels Nevada to 3-0 Win
|
The Nevada Noise got a stellar effort from pitcher Arthur López, helping Nevada score a 3-0 win over the visiting Boston Rebels. António Martínez finished the game for Nevada and earned his 12th save. The Noise now have a record of 21-17.
López ran roughshod over the Boston lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 4-1 on the season.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Nevada manager Bobby Vickers. "Our pregame was pretty good."
