The Niagara Falls Frenzy got a stellar performance from pitcher Otis Sykes, who handcuffed the Boston offense en route to a 4-2 win at Fenway Park. Sykes went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-2. Niagara Falls occupies last place in the National League Eastern Division at 12-22.
In the top of the third, Martín De Jesús hit a 2-run home run for Niagara Falls. The 3rd home run of the season for the Niagara Falls left fielder put the Frenzy on top, 4-2.
Sykes called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
