Mountaineers Jolt Rockets with Late Rally

The Nassau Rockets got a sterling performance from pitcher Tomás Molina, but the Mountaineers still prevailed, 6-3. Molina was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball. The win moves Beech Mountain to a record of 13-16.
John Anderson, who is tied for 6th in the NL in doubles with 10, helped out the Beech Mountain cause in the top of the eighth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Anderson said.
