The Nevada Noise topped the So Cal Bruins, 5-3, in National League action at Branda's Palace. The player of the game was Nevada pitcher and Chicago, Illinois native Arthur López. López got the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. López allowed no earned runs. António Martínez got credit for the save for Nevada. It was his 9th of the year.

Stephen Wilson had a big 2-run double for the Noise in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Nevada leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Alejandro Méndez and stroked the double to right. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Noise ahead, 3-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Nevada manager Bobby Vickers.

The win gives Nevada a record of 17-12.
