Pikes Top River Sharks Behind Lebel, 4-0
|
Left-hander Albert Lebel mesmerized the Austin River Sharks while leading the Seattle Pikes to a 4-0 victory. Austin, at 7-19, is off to a poor start in 2028.
Lebel, a native of Saint Catharines-Niagara, Canada, was dealing all game. He kept Austin hitters off-balance, while giving the Pikes 8.1 quality innings. Lebel threw 96 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 10.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Lebel said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
