Frenzy Drop Another One
The Niagara Falls Frenzy got a sterling performance from pitcher Ed Jones, but the Noise still prevailed, 7-4. Jones was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Mike Pierce recorded his 1st save for Nevada. The Noise keep rolling, raising their record to 14-8.

Had Willie Wallace not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Wallace hit a grand slam. That made the score 7-4, in favor of the Noise.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Wallace told the Nevada Citizen.
