Boccabellas Knock Off G-Strings at Connie Mack Stadium
Connie Mack Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Nashville G-Strings and Pocatello Boccabellas.

Pocatello rode a decent outing from starter Osvaldo Cruz to victory over the Nashville G-Strings at Connie Mack Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Jaime Espinoza earned the save for Pocatello, his 5th of the year.

In the bottom of the third, Marlon Phipps hit a grand slam home run for Pocatello. The 2nd home run of the season for the Pocatello designated hitter put the Boccabellas on top, 4-2.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Phipps told the Pocatello Herald.

The win brings the Boccabellas to 6-11, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
