Marshals Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Frenzy
|
Mythology Coliseum was the site of a tense game between the Niagara Falls Frenzy and Houston Marshals.
In a tight game between the Houston Marshals and the Niagara Falls Frenzy, pitcher Braydon Schute was terrific on the mound. The Houston left-hander was named the player of the game in Houston's 3-1 win. The losses continue to mount for Niagara Falls, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
With Houston trailing 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, the Marshals fortunes got a boost when center fielder Álex Rosado turned a full count fastball from Terry Fields into his 11th home run of the season. The hit scored 2 and put Houston up, 2-1.
"This team is headed in the right direction," said Schute.
