Loss to Beavers Extends Austin Losing Streak
In a low-scoring clash between Baffin Island and Austin, pitcher Nathan Walters was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Baffin Island in the 3-1 win. Austin now has a 15-game losing streak.

Baffin Island shortstop Dave Craig helped the Beavers go up, 2-1, in the top of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Craig hit a run-scoring single off Austin pitcher José Pérez.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Baffin Island manager Chris Black.
