River Sharks Lose Again, 7-5, to Beavers
|
The Baffin Island Beavers topped the Austin River Sharks, 7-5, with left fielder Sammy Marshall playing a big role. Marshall was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times for the Beavers in the win. Brent Miller nailed down his 42nd save. This loss makes it 14 in a row for Austin.
Mike MacFadden struck a blow for the Beavers in the top of the second when he hit a 2-run home run. It put his team ahead, 2-0. For the game, MacFadden was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
