Baldwin Plays Big Role in Pocatello Win
|
Pocatello right-hander Bud Baldwin was sensational in shutting out the San Francisco Bandits, 2-0. Picking up the save was Jaime Espinoza, his 34th. Pocatello currently is in 4th place in the Continental League Western Division at 71-65.
The Bandits had trouble solving Baldwin, who surrendered no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings.
"The old adage is true," said Baldwin. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
