Rebels Defeat Machine, 6-2

Boston pitcher José Crus did his part in helping his team beat the Chicago Machine, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Crus picked up the win for Boston, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 7-11. Fernando Silva got credit for the save for Boston. It was his 2nd of the year.
In the bottom of the first, Lorenzo Flores hit a 2-run home run for Boston. The 16th home run of the season for the Boston first baseman put the Rebels on top, 2-0.
"I liked his command," said Boston manager Lúcio Harrell. "José was throwing strikes."
The Rebels move to 39-75 with the win, while the Machine drop to 46-67.
