Pocatello Boccabellas starter Kevin Bush was in fine form against the Irvine Gang Green at Connie Mack Stadium, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Bush went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 0, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-1. Jaime Espinoza picked up the save for Pocatello, his 3rd of the year.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, left fielder Jeremy Carr came through big-time for the Boccabellas. With Pocatello leading 3-1, he belted a solo home run.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Irvine manager Luke Murray said following the tough loss.

The win brings the Boccabellas to 3-8, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
