The Vista Panthers grabbed a 11-4 win over the Nevada Noise at Stone Brewery Stadium. Vista catcher Cisco Gatán was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Doug Singleton picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 7-6. Cliff Long was tagged with the loss. With the win over Nevada, the Panthers improved to 65-48.

Justin Burgess, the 23 overall pick in the 2021 draft, aided the Vista cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop went 1-3 with a walk.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gatán said.
