Frenzy Lose, 7-3, at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark

It was a good time at Roy Hobbs Memorial Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Niagara Falls Frenzy and New York Knights get after it.
The New York Knights topped the Niagara Falls Frenzy, 7-3, with catcher Felipe Rodríguez playing a big role. Rodríguez was 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Knights in the win. The winner was Elton Johnston, who threw 85 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits. Sancho Mendoza recorded his 1st save for New York.
Rodríguez had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a grand slam. The Knights went on to win.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Rodríguez said.
The Knights raised their record to 43-70.
