Niagara Falls Frenzy starter Albert Gonzáles was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the New York Knights, 4-2. In 6.2 innings, Gonzáles surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. Even with the win, the Frenzy have a dismal 37-74 record.
Clyde Yarbrough, who is a four-time All-Star, aided the Niagara Falls cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
