Frenzy Take Down Browns, 5-3
|
The Niagara Falls Frenzy grabbed a 5-3 win over the St. Louis Browns at Gateway Stadium. Niagara Falls second baseman Kel Pierce was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times to earn player of the game honors. Esteban Juárez earned the save, his 5th, for the Frenzy. The Browns fall to 4-6 and continue their lackluster start to the 2028 season.
Niagara Falls grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Pierce, who is tied for 8th in the NL in doubles with 4, hit a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season put the Frenzy out in front, 2-1.
"We did enough to win," said Pierce.
