The Baffin Island Beavers got a scintillating performance from pitcher Thierry Garneau, who shut out the Plymouth Rocks, 2-0. Brent Miller picked up the save, his 4th. The win brings the Beavers to 6-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
Garneau delivered a quality start for Baffin Island. The 6' 3" right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings of work.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Plymouth manager Jaime Torres.
