The Nevada Noise and starting pitcher Cliff Long stifled the Maui offense en route to a comfortable 13-2 win at Rainbow Stadium. Long, the winner, moves to 4-3. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up no walks. The third-place Noise improved to 45-48.

In the top of the eighth inning, left fielder Pablo Reyes came through big-time for the Noise. With Nevada leading 9-0, he belted a 3-run home run.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Reyes told reporters after the game.
