The Pocatello Boccabellas picked up a win at Connie Mack Stadium, knocking off the St Charles Sheens, 2-0. Starting pitcher Osvaldo Cruz, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Jaime Espinoza, credited with the save, is now 24 for 26 in save opportunities. The Boccabellas sit in third place in the Continental League Western Division with a record of 47-41.

It could have been a different outcome for Pocatello, had it not been for Francisco Sandoval, the 27-year old third baseman . Sandoval contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third inning to put Pocatello up, 1-0.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Cruz told the Pocatello Herald.
