It was a good time at Gateway Stadium, where fans came to watch the Plymouth Rocks and St. Louis Browns get after it.
The St. Louis Browns topped the Plymouth Rocks by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman David Johnstone. Johnstone was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Browns on the day. Aaron Palmer was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. António López was called on to finish, recording his 28th save.
