So Cal catcher Earl Wiggins made his presence felt in the 7-5 Bruins triumph over the Nassau Rockets. Wiggins went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Kazuo Mochizuki picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Guan-cai Yong was tagged with the loss. Nassau has now lost 4 in a row.
Lawrence Schroeder made it 6-4 in favor of So Cal when he delivered a 2-run double. It came with no one out in the top of the tenth. The Bruins went on to win.
