Calrissian Cut Down Frenzy, 4-2

The Orlando Calrissian and Niagara Falls Frenzy played an exciting game at Mel Fields.
Orlando Calrissian starter Arturo Sánchez was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Niagara Falls Frenzy, 4-2. Sánchez got the win, improving to 2-7. He allowed 9 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. Sánchez allowed 2 earned runs.
Had Juan Colón not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Colón hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Calrissian.
After the game, Orlando manager Gerald Atkins applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
The 4th-place Calrissian improved to 36-43.
