Boccabellas Come Back Late to Top Calrissian
|
The Pocatello Boccabellas got a strong performance from pitcher Bud Baldwin, who stymied the Orlando offense en route to a 4-2 win at Mel Fields. Jaime Espinoza closed the door for Pocatello, picking up his 22nd save of the year. Orlando is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 11 in a row.
In the top of the 8th, Pocatello took the lead on a bases-clearing double by Orlando Bruno. At the time, the Boccabellas were trailing 2-1, but Bruno's hit with two outs against Orlando pitcher Mike Murray put them in front, 4-2.
"We're in a funk right now," said Orlando skipper Gerald Atkins.
