Kings, Parsons Pin Bad Loss on River Sharks
The Kansas City Kings cruised to a 12-2 win over the Austin River Sharks at The Throne Room today. Ronald Parsons led the way, going 3-for-4 for Kansas City. Carlos Pacheco picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 7 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 13-6. The Kings improved to 96-64.

The Kings got a big at-bat from right fielder Ron Crawford. For the game, Crawford went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Kansas City a 5-1 lead.
