Beavers Beat Frenzy, 4-1

Not everyone stuck through the 61-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.
The Baffin Island Beavers went home winners at Beaver Dam, thanks in large part to starter Jesse Little. Little silenced the Niagara Falls Frenzy, enabling Baffin Island to grab the 4-1 win. With the win, Baffin Island goes to 93-65, while the Frenzy fall to 55-100.
Alonso Ferreira struck a blow for the Beavers in the bottom of the fourth when he hit a 2-run home run. It put his team ahead, 3-1. For the game, Ferreira went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Little said.
