Frenzy Topple River Sharks with Late Rally

Niagara Falls pitcher Blaine Yarbrough did his part in helping his team beat the Austin River Sharks, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winner was Kimitada Takai in relief. His record improves to 4-0. José Salinas took the loss. The River Sharks, at 21-52, have lost 4 straight games.
Troy Lau drove in one run for Niagara Falls. In the bottom of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 2-2, Lau delivered for the Frenzy. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Niagara Falls on top, 3-2.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Yarbrough said.
