84s Prevail, as Divisional Championship Goes to the Wire Friday, October 13th, 2023 The fans in Greenville are delirious, while there is no joy in Austin. The Greenville 84s finished off the Austin River Sharks 5-2 in the deciding game of the Divisional Championship played at Michigan & Trumbull. They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the League Championship. For his standout play, Greenville's Vicente Bueno was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .500, drove in 3 runs and scored 7 to lead his club to victory. The Greenville 84s will play against the Jersey Shore D-Bags in the next round.
